But, having an alarm _might_ act as a deterrent, so I decided to whip-up a faux alarm. Identifying the pins and connector was no fun at all, so hopefully I'll have saved others here the trouble of hunting these things up.
Also found a PDF spec sheet for these connectors that might be useful as well: [ http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/0021/0900766b8002180f.pdf] According to Triumph's Alarm instructions (A9808081), the blanking plug "MUST" be returned to Triumph when alarm has been installed. Can't say where the two jumpers go, other than noticing my fuel pump goes silent when plug is removed. So, if you decide to mess with this plug/port, treat it as an essential component because it can cripple the whole machine.

I did however sought a spare 12 port plug, lucky with that one, sorry but haven't been able to source another Maybe try alarm companies.

Made an aluminum bracket mounted with M6 bolts to a pair of holes (37mm apart) under relays and behind RH side cover. Switch is a pull-on/push-off type that could be used as a kill switch to disable fuel pump or any other reason you might have for hiding a switch.
Location is directly over drive belt, so M6 bolts are threaded to bracket and stop nuts are recommended as you don't want it coming loose.
