Just finished some additions to my Bird. This consisted of a Memphis Shades Batwing fairing, spoiler windshield, Tsukayu Jumbo Strong Hardbags with added Custom Dynamics LED run, turn and brake lights.
I have to thank some folks first. Fast Eddy for supplying fairing, bags and windsheild. Steve Williams at Memphis Shades for fitment help. Staff at Custom Dynamics for making LED lighting for dummies possible. Cycle terminal.com for wiring supplies to plug into OEM harness. PapaSmurf for his wiring diagram help and wiring for dummies help.
Here are some pictures with one of it's stable mate. Some will like, some will not. I love the way it came out and I'm happy I chose to "Go my own way".
Cheers John

Just an FYI I see you have the child horn installed that came with engine bars, The stock horn will fit using the new bracket. Rotate stock horn 90 degrees, bend wire connectors straight out bend bracket by hand just a tad when mounted.

Headlight is7"Adjure, spots are 4 1/2". Fairing is adjustable up/down and forward/ backward. Fairing is at upper/ forward position so there is plenty of adjustment for5 3/4" stock light. Forward/ backward position is about same as stock light. Confirmed at time of light upgrade. Shouldn't be any issues with stock light that adjustment won't fix.

Hi Randy Coverage is awesome. Upper body is covered and buffeting when I raise my hand slowly up at 70 mph isn't noticed till above my head. I'm 6'1" have a tall upper body. It really rides smooth as silk now and the best part its removable in 30 seconds without tools.

I know the 'Birds have some extra wiring for that parking light inside the bucket, but how many wires did you have to cut and splice to get that Adjure on?

TBirdgirl
First welcome to the nuthouse!! Pictures of your ride please!!
It wasn't that difficult, no cutting of oem wiring at all. I did remove terminals (carefully) from the old headlight and plugged them into new one. Old parking light bulb was removed but housing was left intact in bucket (taped over socket).
Here is a summary of what I did to give you a idea of the scope of project.
Removed old light and headlight mount (don't lose dowel). Replaced with 7" Adjure flamed bucket assembly, new headlight mount was used (JP Cycles). Drilling (step drill) of new headlight housing on bottom to accommodate oem wiring (headlight bucket is used as a junction box of sorts). Grommet was installed around drilled hole to prevent fraying of wires. unplugged other connections, fished thru hole then reconnected. Drilled headlight bolt hole larger to about .395" to accommodate 3/8" 16 TPI allen cap bolt. Drilled in two steps with light oil to prevent binding. Right angle drill is handy here. Everything I did is completely reversible as all modifications I perform.
Bottom line is it wasn't that hard if you take your time and have some basic skills. I went with the Adjure lights because I love the quality of their chrome plated aluminum bucket housings. They do offer other shapes and styles as well as different pie plate configurations. Call them before ordering they may have some on special.
I know a lot of other folks here have upgraded the 5 3/4" light to larger ones so look around see what you may like. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers John

I just received my 5" flame bucket and Trilliant blue dot lamp today. Doesn't sound like a straight plug n play, more like a PITA. Might not get it done before we leave for Rockets across America on Saturday. I'll give it a shot, though. Thanks for the advice.

Here is the link to how to wire it in. Link I'll look around for files on the details of install. You will need to make a secondary wiring harness the plugs into OEM harness (no cutting). Read Papssmurf's thread and I'll look for the rest.
Here is the other link on this. It shows harness details too.

I added led lights to circuit but powered relay on its own from battery using a fused link. If I had replaced incandescent bulbs completely I might have had to add a load equalizer. To add load to slow blink rate. I think this is where Papa ran into trouble. Just to clarify I'm not using a brake modulator or a load equalizer. I think it's tin the wiring diagram in one of the posts. I will find diagram and post to be sure.
