| | Posted : 29 Mar 2014 - 14:56 Post title : Anyone Wanna Trade Stock 1600 Bars/Risers for My Storm Bars/Risers? | | | Just picked up my 2012 Storm yesterday and am already making a list of mods/changes/upgrades. First on the list was to buy the Mustang Tripper Fastback Saddle.
Next up is to swap out the stock Storm bars/risers and go back to the stock 1600s. Anyone want to trade their stock 1600 set for mine? Or does anyone have a old bar/riser set they want to sell?

After only a few hours on the Storm I can tell my stubby arms would be more comfy in the stock config.

I think they had about 6 months on the bike before I went to the broomstick. Let me go take a look at them to make sure what the condition is (in case they had an issue during storage) before I say anything on that. As for shipping, it would just be a USPS shipping cost. It would be pretty cheap and take about a week (with priority shipping) as we have a US shipping address out here.

I have a set of risers and stock bars that came off of my 2010 Blue Haze about 3 years ago. They have been hanging in the garage since.
I can take a look at them this evening and check condition. The stock grip is still on the left side. The throttle grip broke at the cable retainer like some others here have had happen. I replaced everything with double T bars and Arlen Ness grips. Yours for $90.00 plus the shipping from Des Moines.

I'm not crazy about the way they make the front end of the bike feel and they're a bit too far forward for me as I've got shorter arms. Of course, it just may be that I'm not used to them yet as I haven't put too many miles down since Friday. I'm also not too crazy about the way they look... it's probably just me, but they have sort of a "bent in half" look to them.

Very cool... I'm interested, but Thatch got in first, so if he's not interested in packing up his bars and shipping them from Germany (via USPS), I'd be willing to take yours off your hands.

Just saw this thread I would be willing to trade you your bars and risers for mine, I'm also in Colorado. If things don't work out with what you have already spoke with others about let me know and we can figure something out.
