The last non-LED bulb on my 'Bird (aside from headlight) is the parking lamp. Can't imagine ever using this function, but since bulb is always on might as well make sure it works.
Bulb is a 9mm bayonet-base common on Euro vehicles, not so common here in the States but certainly easier to find than the BAU15s turn signal bulbs were.
Closest conventional replacement I could find was a (14v/4.6w) 1893.

Limiting factor: Socket is 12mm OD, rubber grommet/mount is 12mm ID. This lamp is 12.1mm diameter and a tight squeeze.

BA9S LED lamp draws 1/4 the wattage at 12v and is MUCH brighter than stock bulb, actually holds its own with headlight on.
25 lumen/180-degree output. (The clear plastic lens can be removed , puts it just under 12mm dia.)

Other smaller diameter and dimmer 12v LED lamps:

7 lumen Link

Good find and thanks for the links and pics!

I'll give one a try next time I order from Superbrightleds (which seems to be every couple of weeks, lately).

I guess you and I are the primary LED fanatics around here, huh.

I'm just surprised (and a bit annoyed) that Triumph didn't see fit to specify light bulb types ANYWHERE. Not in service manual, or owner's manual, or specifications or anywhere else that I could find.

Next will be some down-low running lights (CREE?) to help illuminate debris on roadway. Looking at mounting tabs for front crash bar or forward bolt mounting footpegs/floorboards - and a good lens to get light out ahead of exhaust pipes. They'd have to be small.....
