I like the clear lenses of the turn signals but not the orange glow when you aren't using them. Instead I use them off and on.
I am looking for chrome bulbs but can't find the right one in Europe. I believe the type you need is a Bayonet single contact with offset pin. Anyone known's where you can buy the right one?
The normal type of chrome bulbs are to big to fit in the turn signals.

.

I've also looked for led bulbs but then I think I've to install a load equalizer. I've tried a two wire type but it did not work. (only off and not on).
Maybe somebody has got experience with led turn signals on the Bird and knows how to install the load equalizer plus type?

I found some of those chrome bulbs on ebay, tho that was for my speedmaster (had aftermarket signals w/clear lenses on it) 3 or 4 years ago so i can't tell you the seller's name. But i'd bet he's still selling them.
Personally i don't notice the orange in the bird's signals unless i look for it. It seems very slight really. Otherwise i'd have found and bough some chrome bulbs by now.
