heya everyone

I know the topic of heated grips has come and gone lots, but I am wondering about a couple of specific products.

has anyone got any info or experience with

- Heat Demon inserts here's a Link

or

- Avon heated grips here's a Link

Wife bought me the Kuryakyn Universal Throttle Assist for Xmas, so I will be using that in conjuntion.

My thoughts are if I go with the heat demon inserts, that go inside the bars, then I will use Kuryakyn grips, as there is no doubt about the throttle assist working with them, if I get the Avon's I need to make sure the throttle assist will still work.

any opinions or advice?

thanks

Only way to get bar inserts is to hog out the bolting lug inside the bar ends. The stock bar end weight's Allen screw threads into a lug inside both ends. So I think that pushes you to the Avons.

the Avon's look interesting but a bit pricey compared to their regular grips

currently on a slow Harley but will have another Triumph eventually
