He did have a serious issue with hit so it is worth getting in touch with him for a heads up if you were thinking of investing.

Happy New Year to you. Yes the red rig in the picture is mine, and me and Pam love it to bits.
We tend to go everywhere together on the bike so it makes sense to be comfortable on our camping trips. This is why Pam and I went down the trailer route. So on camping only rallies for us it's a plus to take a tent that we can stand up in, not forgetting the odd bottle of the good stuff. And if Pam wants to take an extra pair of shoes its no bother.
You can still filter through traffic, and remember when you get to your destination you can uncouple the trailer and you're solo again. Best of both worlds.
I did have an issue with it 2 year ago coming back from Finland, the suspension link that connects the suspension to the swinging arm on the trailer snapped. I've now fitted an aluminium linkage and Eric at mono-trail said he's now upgraded this part too. I've had no other issues with the trailer, it tracks the bike perfect. If you've never travelled with a trailer at the back of your bike then rest assured its a dodle. I find it easier to connect the trailer to the bike then load the trailer and when the trailer is off the bike all you can see is the power socket on the bike (see photo).

I'm waiting for Triumph to announce the price of the LT and then try and work out if I can afford one. My wife likes the look of the Thunderbird and as I struggle to keep the speeds down on my Sprint GT she said she would much prefer the more layed back style of the Thunderbird. I'm also sure I will be happier as well, on a lower bike. I'm on tip toes on the Sprint when stationary. As for the trailer I think it is a great solution to carrying more stuff and would consider one if We started to do more touring instead of day or two day trips.

I know its not everyone's cup of tea but that's me. The price you ask? it was just over 2 grand in 2012.
