Just bought my first triumph a month ago. Bought the 2013 Storm and was wondering about grips. Can I use any brand as long as they're for 1 inch bars. Don't want the same ol Avon or Kurys, no offense. Thanks for any help.

You can stretch the nice sport bikey gel grips of your choice (7/8ths rubber grips) around them. The throttle side has grabby ridges and nubs on the the twister part. I removed them with a razor knife so they couldn't be felt through the grip, and can no longer use triumph grips - oh dear.

Or if you wanted to be only the 2nd Tbirder in back of me to go the CORRECT route, you could always put in a bit of work and install a set of gran turismo grips, otherwise known back in the day as "Triumph grips" ! It's really the only correct and logical choice.
