The old Triumph teardrop mufflers had a distinctive sound - a nice subdued roar but definitely not load. These days, they have to make sewing machine mufflers because of regulations. But they've retained the traditional sound with the TORs. This was the case on the Rocket and with the T-Bird mufflers. Louder than that just means more like HD.

That must be with the cross over pipe and the CAT removed. Mine don't have that decel wraping sound to them, nice and clean throaty tone instead.
