| Posted : 25 Oct 2013 - 22:41 Post title : Re: Rode a Trophy (Re: mat1600) | | I know what ya mean about the rocket its an intimidating presence just sitting there but the main reason i didn't buy it over the bird was sound. when you open up the sound on the bird with good pipes it sounds like a high performance muscle car when you open up the sound on a rocket it sounds like a diesel tactor but dang i'll bet its fun to ride

When I jump on the TBird, all thoughts of owning a different bike fade away. I will probs end up just getting a new TBird - although mine is running like a dream.

| Posted : 26 Oct 2013 - 01:53 Post title : Re: Rode a Trophy (Re: mat1600) | | we'll see what the new "touring" birds look like. hopefully they will be tastefully done and not just HD clones as far as the hard bags and fairings go but like you my bike runs great and no need to trade for a good long while. even the 1600's are faster than the HD 103's so i wont do the bigbore at least until the 20,000 mile service.
