I just got a phone call from my dealer telling me that my tor's are in. To save a bit of dough I figured I'd install the pipes myself. I live about 20 minutes away from the dealer. Is it important to get the tor's tune before I put the pipes on? Or is it ok to put the pipes on at home and drive 20 minutes to the dealer to get the tune. Should I be worried about running it lean for 20 minutes? Oh ya.....I also just installed a K&N filter. Thanks!!!

No worries. I put mine on and rode a week before i was able to get the tune. Dealer said it was ok and it was. However, the bike will run really lousy so don't be bummed....that changes as soon as the tune is loaded. I felt like i lost more power with the pipes and no tune then i gained with the pipes and tune !
