Only problem with the switchblade deflector on the storm is that the dual lights make it nearly impossible to quick release and put back on without taking off the nuts/bolts. It works great....just a hassle to take on and off (which I like to do depending on where I'm riding)

What is left on the bike after you quick release it? Is there a lot of hardware that might leave my poor bird looking like a 14 year old kid with braces?

I shouldn't have looked at this thread ! So far i'm resisting, but boy do i wish i could flip a switch and have one whenever i'm on the freeway. Thats the only time i'd want it tho, and i try and spend as little time on freeways as possible, as they bore me. Jury's still out, but they're leaning the way they normally do on this subject.

Daz, Felt the same way about screens as yourself and continually took the piss out of the Triumph Shorty fitted riding buddy..!! But after a weekend and nearly 400 kms behind a National Switchblade Deflector, from Fast Eddy, I'm converted.
It's quick release so can come off for around townbut it's small enough not to be obtrusive, can take a bigger screen if needed and is half the Triumph prices... and it makes higher speeds on the freeways so much more comfortable..

Only those 2 little "nubs" you see in the picture. They are about 1/4 - 1/2 inch wide. It actually looks relatively clean when you take the screen off.

This is all thats left once the screens off.......the bobbins and the tensioning/cover plate. Not too obtrusive.
