Hello all, does anyone have experience with installing a Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing on their 2012 Thunderbird? If so, which model listed on the Memphis Shades site (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki or Yamaha), would be the correct fit for the Tbird? I hear there are other batwing fairing options like Corbin (expensive) and Tsukayu (don't want a radio or radio mount). Am I relegated to picking from either of those two or is their hope using the Memphis Shades option? Thanks!

Tsukayu is not a bad option, before painting I blanked off the speaker openings and use the "radio" opening as a glove compartment

Well riding in the Northeast I need a solution that affords me protection in rain and wind. The batwing
looks like it gives some hand protection, some wind protection and as crazy as it may sound,
I kind of like the look! What other options are out there?

Klam, both Daycruiser and Jango have batwing fairings on their bikes. you can look them up on the members page and probably PM them with questions. and of course you could call up fast eddy and he'll give you the skinny on fairings.

currently on a slow Harley but will have another Triumph eventually

Ya don't want an ABS Batwing. Go with fiberglass, so much better at the end of the day.

Thanks for the link and advice! Did you buy direct from Tsukayu or through a dealer?

Very nice! This is the Tsukayu small batwing or the plain batwing fairing?

That is the small batwing. The plain ones are for the larger head lamp. You will need to also buy the memphis shades fork clamps. The ones that come with the batwing don't fit our forks well. You might need a larger wind screen depending on your height in the saddle to avoid buffeting.

Habuba..Nice set up for touring, I would have that batwing just to clip on for those long hauls. What model number is it ? It is a memphis shades yes? This thread is becoming confusing with the three different makes being mentioned......

Jango is right on, my fairing is the small Tsukayu made for the Thunderbird with the 5" curvey windshield which I based the height on, being able to just looking over it. Works great for me, I,m now in the search for lower wind deflectors to reduce wind flow coming from around the tank. I also now have a Triumph triangle badge center top of the fairing.
