| Posted : 31 May 2013 - 00:14 Post title : Sissy bar with OEM panniers | | I have an issue with the sissy bar not locking down into place when the saddle bags are on. I did everything per the instructions but those long, plastic finishing covers that go over the OEM brackets for a cleaner look stop my sissy bar from going down far enough to lock all the way into place. Has anyone else had this issue? Dd you just rip them off and toss them? The locking side release things on the sissy bar hit those plastic covers. If I remove those covers, then the bags go down far enough and lock into place. Wierd.
