if burbling is not backfiring, or popping, then why do the TOR have this happen? why does not the smart black box sense too rich fuel and fix it? wonder if the sensor for oxygen and fuel mix would not sense and fix?

any ideas? I do not mind it, seems like the old hotrods floating their valves...

but then again it is wasteful of fuel, and can irritate the pedestrians.

Did you remap? Check for any leaks (air) with the new install?

My advice is leave well alone. Point one. ECU's etc are a mirky electronic underworld, only to be entered at you own peril and point two. That's the way bikes are meant to sound. Add louder pipes and really give 'em something to grumble about

The reAson for the popping on over run is not to much fuel it's to little, you allways have a lean condition on closed throttle, Triumph have to do this to meet emession regulations, you hear it more on the TOR pipes due to less baffle.

Perfically normal

Oh yeah baby - YEAH ! ! !

BTW - I think my setup now (BB-Kit, Long TOR's, High Flow Air Filter) is too much for Switzerland
I was stood watching / listening as my biker buddy had a little ride up and down the street the other day.
All I can say is WOW... WOW.... WOW.... WOW & WOW

When he opened up the throttle it really does give out a dominant 'YOU GOT A PROBLEM PAL?' kind of ROAR ! ! !
DEFIANTLY too much for the Swiss! I'll have to watch when and where I let the beast speak it's mind...

Sounds totally different when you are stood behind watching/listening as apposed to being in the riders seat!

As for the burping & popping.... Bring it on!

Could not agree more - I don't think it should be left upto mother nature to produce all the thunder - I want to join in aswell

My first natural instinct is to breathe. My second is to evade tax's.

Just got the long tors and tune done along with a K&N filter. What a great sound!! They are louder than stock but not much.....for now (I understand they get louder over time). It has a unique growl now under heavy throttle. Not harley like but beefy.

As for the burping and farting under deceleration.........that's the best part......makes it sound like a hot-rod.
