That's always too many but believe me or not what you are complaining is nothing comparing to us here. A friend of mine from Adelaide showed me his Honda ... the uniforms here would arrest you if they would see it on our streets

I am sorry Steve here are some details:
First you have to cut the struts. They should follow the rear fender later.

The rear fender is a BK Stiletto long. You have to cut and bend it a bit:

I used the Kellermann LED indicator, light and break light Micro 1000. The bike should be as clean as possible. You need for it special resisters otherwise it doesn't work properly.

I hope this answers most. Uuups front fender ... just new coloured.

I will post the change of the handlebar with new master brake cylinder later.

Hofi,
Can you tell me the height of the risers and also the width of the bars.
What type of switches are used for indicaters and turning the headlight on and off.

Hofi, I think a lot of us are interested in your bars and controls.

The whole bike looks great but I love what you've done to the bar.

Hi guys,
long time nothing heard from me but I am still driving my bird. I started a new project: remove the speedo and change the buttons! The speedo is on the wrong place and its ugly and the small buttons I used are hard to feel if it is pressed or not! So far so good and started and strip the Bird.

Disassemble the tank and remove everything inside. Sawing out all holder (Ouch!) remove a very little painting (big ouch!) and closed the hole underneath the speedo (ouch!).

I think that look is promising, or?

My painter means I have to remove much more painting and have to fill all holes with tin-solder (worst ouch!).

That will take some time ...

About the buttons i fond some from Motogadget which are useful for my fingers. Installation was easy but I have to contact it to the new speedo later. My friend needs a bit time for the black-box which translates the CAN-bus to the speedo. The buttons are better to handle for me.

If someone wants the old one send me a notice.

Forgot the speedo, this one is it:

I wish you fast recovery.
My advice is to go to bed with a bottle of single malt. It doesn't help the flue, but it's a lot more fun.

I love the whole idea of getting rid of the console on the tank. I too, am anxious for the outcome.

Hi guys,
I connected all cables with the speedo and the indicator works well, horn works ... OK the brake lights (?) always ON and the Info-button crashes the speedo ... that will take a while.

But the tank is painted and ready to install ... OK no stripes anymore ... doesn't look nice. Great if you have a bro who can handle paint! I'll get back my tank with some stripes and a Thunderbird color in color like this in black maybe in my green within next 3-4 weeks.

Again stop. I am traveling next 3-4 weeks and hope I get it done this summer.
