It's a toss up between: - Saddle Bags + EDGE Brackets or - Progressive Susspension
. . . . . The penny came down as 'heads'! So it's Progressive for me :-)

I guess I'd be forced to buy $1000 worth of cocaine, cut it, resell it and get the $1600 required for the BB kit and install.
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. :P
Ok, on a somewhat more serious note it would still be performance based purchases for me (don't care for the rest of the do-dads ) I'd get aftermarket pipes, an air filter and the tuneboy. All together that would come to right at $1k

But would probably get the saddle bags. Just so you know what the prices are like over here. I brought the Tbird Jacket from a dealer in the US for $425USD. In the stores over here it was somthing around the $800.00 Mark. Even with postage and the exchange rate i was still $250 or so in front..

| Posted : 04 May 2010 - 15:02 Post title : Re: If you only had $1000 for accessories what would you buy (Re: drdarren) | | Actually, $1000 is all i'd need except for pipes, but thats ok because i hear cat removal with stock pipes sounds as good as tors with cat intact. So i could make some connector pipes and leave it at that. Other than that, $1000 nets all the accessories that to me are necassary. granted, i'd like the chrome pulley and wheels, but those aren't necassary while the ones i mentioned ARE to me.
chrome fork legs $350 Tbars $200 Chrome switch housings $225 (actually $200 but they don't give you the clamp on one sde so you have to buy that seperately) Chrome brake res cover $60 teardrop mirrors $140 Fender Medallion $20
And enough left over for lunch.

I suspect that most of us have already spent well over $1000 on accessories
