Had these pipes fitted last week, and have about 1000k's under the wheels. First impressions were good with a very nice throaty sound at idle, and a very nice sound under throttle. Subsequent understandings clarified I need to load the rigt tune to kill the popping on decel, which is LOUD and offensive. Also it is virtually impossible to pull away from the lights without being the star of the show - very loud on pull away at part throttle. They are nice at 100ks cruising on steady throttle, much nicer and quiet enough than the standard pipes.

I paid $895 fitted, and of course this deletes cat. (Triumph quoted 540 plus 330 for short Tors and Meerkat cat bypass).

I rolled down the hill and had the Std Tors tune loaded so I cant speak for how the pipes were from standard with no retune.

Overall I have a belief that with Dizee (sorry of spelt wrong) tune for 1700, nocat, open pipes I will eleiminate as much as possible the decel popping which I am worried about and I expect some smoothing of the pull away from lights tone.

Fit and finish looks good to me, although the stainless may be a lot thinner than I am used to in the past, it is of course all about weight and cost - it looks ok to me.....

Peter was very helpful, and I put him under pressure as we were riding on the weekend, he actually performed BETTER than his commitment and I was able to have the bike early, have retune loaded and a day to spare - so from order to happy was only three days.

If I get a chance and can work it out - will upload pics....

How do I upload a video clip? Will need to research that... in the meantime here are some stills.

Underneath after cat removed. I wonder if that little inspection sticker was important for warranty...

They sound good even though the media quality made it hard to hear the real sound, but IMHO I reckon my Forans sound better

Yeah the Forans sound great, if only we could induce some viagra and get rid of the droop.

These same exhaust blokes made a good job of Tich's Speedie pipes.

Experience is something you get just after you needed it
