I was at the Motorcycle Show here in Clelveland this weekend and saw this Bagger Tbird at the Triumph booth. The fairing, custom handlebars, bags and rear fender were fab'd by Klock Werks in South Dakota for Triumph USA. The factory rep "hinted" there "could be something like this in the pipeline for later this year." I just hope they don't sell it in this flat black paint finish.

Really not crazy about the dog leg pipes, but their rear fender, bags and the filler pieces between the bags and fender look pretty well thought out. Nicely integrated lights on the rear. Imagine this in a glossy black or candy color and Wow!

Here is the Klock Werks link to their site. They currently show no accessories for the Thunderbird, but that could likely change soon. Overall, their quality of build looked pretty good, except for the Krylon paint job.

Can't see it doing to well in the UK, but if it brings new people to the world of Triumph that cant be a bad thing..

Yep......Ummmmm.

Well I'm sure there will be guys out there that feel it is a dream come true, looking at those pictures,

And have to say i do kinda like most of the things done to the Bird, that is with the exception of, that great monstrosity of a "Bat Wing" attached to the front of the bike.?

Hey ho.......thought provoking I suppose!

That man should be arrested before he damages any more fine motorcycles.

I would like to know what he was smoking, while he sorted that front end out, cos I need to stay away from it.

while I do not particularly care for that bike, I must say that I am planning to put a batwing onto my bird. (most likely tsukayu) As the bird is becoming primarily a 2 up tuoring bike and the rides get longer, comfort is more of a consideration. It has been a long time since I had a fully faired bike but it was comfy then.
plus that big chunk of fiberglass will be a great place to hide my speedo relocation project.

hopefully when I am done I will have something that looks better than this show bike. or at least I can get some dummies WITH heads to surround it.

Although I'm not a fan of this bike, I am a fan of Triumph finally moving (or hinting at) more options for the Storm. I would love to have a batwing (working with 2 headlights). I wouldn't have it on my bike all of the time.....actually I would probably have it on my bike on long hauls. But I don't have a problem spending the time taking accessories on and off when needed. Maybe it's just me, but I would rather have something and not need it all the time as opposed to need something some of the time and not have it.

Those bags look like they leave little room for the passenger's legs......

wonder if a corbin fairing for a rocket3 would work on a storm with some mods to the mounting brackets maybe quick release
on that subject i also wonder if the corbin fairing for the hd dyna models would work on a 1600 to me it looks much better than the one they came up with for the bird originally

currently on a slow Harley but will have another Triumph eventually

I had been looking at the corbin freightliner for the R3 with dual headlights (since I have the dual fat bob lights) for whatever reason corbins dual headlight model is not as long or aerodynamic looking as the model for the single headlight. Getting the paint match might be a challange as well.

I think the contraband looks pretty sharp. I would have to go back to the OEM head light to make it work but adding some nice looking driving lights might offset that.

and I could migrate the dual headlight to the 05 speedmaster, it is time for a change up there anyway.

Its pure jealousy. Nothing else.

I have to let him ride upfront everytime so he feels better about having the base colour black Bird.

I spent 25 years in the car repair industry (panel and paint) and could never understand matt finishes, to me it looks like the refinisher couldn't be bothered to buff it up (the older acrylic paints). Just my opinion.

As far as that bagger goes
