It was built by Brian Klock of Klock Werks Customs. I was showing a lot of interest in it and he ended up taking my pic at tweeting it to triumph and emailing it to me. He told be that by Daytona he should have a complete kit available with a long fender and different hard bags designed for the bird. A fairing with glove box and stereo designed for the bird and handle bars to go with it.

I wouldn't want ape hanger bars, and a long fender. The bags look nice, but are a bit too Harley looking for me. Something smaller that tucks in well above my long tor pipes would be better. This looks more like a conversion, and I think most guys just want some nice bolt on stuff.

The only saving grace is that if you look close, those apes are made up of a silly ass U-bar and clip-ons. I like clip-ons. Put em on the forks where they belong and burn the rest of this thing.

so , reading between the lines, your not so keen on the whole thing.
I have to agree with you. But it will be right up the street for someone wanting to ditch a big HD and have a change of bike.
Not for me.

The bar height was very comfortable. The idea behind it is undoubtably HD, but I have to say it just feels right to me. Most of the negative feedback I hear is "purists" hating on the whole Harley thing. In reality it is a very smart upgraded machine made better by quality Klockwerk accessories. I also spoke to Bryan Klock about the cost and availability of the add ons. He estimated about $3000 for the package due sometime around Daytona. He also mentioned adding upgraded hard bags more suited to the Tbird instead of the squarish HD bags. I look forward to seeing what they have to offer.

I look forward to seeing it too. Harley bags on a T-Bird look like.... Well, Harley bags on a T-Bird.

Also....it seems like us folks with the Storm twin-headlights are considered the red-headed step children (especially those of us who love the look of the 2 lights)

Hell of a lot cheaper than going the other way (blacking everything out, etc.).

I love the hard panniers has I have been looking for a set for a long time. I do a lot of touring with my wife the problem with triumph leather bags is you can not lock it up so a person can just war up to your bike a take all of your belongings. This is where the hard panniers have a big advantage the only thing I would do is use the Triumph detachable screen.

Thank you for contacting us about the custom Triumph Storm project. We've had a lot of great feedback on it, and continue to work with Triumph on other custom projects they've given us. However, at this time nothing else has resulted in terms of aftermarket parts or kits you can buy for your bike. We aren't carrying or producing any Triumph parts right now. It remains something we'd really like to do, but honestly right now it appears to be sitting on a backburner.
Also, we don't do any service work anymore so the back shop isn't open for customer projects. In order to recreate the bike, all of the parts would need to be modified or fabricated – it would be a custom bike project as opposed to a bolt-on kit you could more easily do at home. If you are serious about making it happen in time for Sturgis, we could help with some general direction and possible supply a few of the foundation parts you would need to modify, but realistically you will probably need to hire a local custom bike shop to work on the project for you.
