That's Birdy's dealer Moto91's bike. I've seen it in person and while not remotely my cuppa he did do a nice job on the hard bags. The apes are ridiculous and overall its a exercise in form over function to say the least, but that shop has done some interesting custom work...just not this one.

I love the hard bags, but don't care for the ape hangers at all. I never really did get the point of apes. They aren't comfortable. They make the bike harder to handle. They look stupid. Why anyone would want them is beyond me.

I'd ride it for sure even with the apes.

With some luck and skill you may get to be old and practical too Dan.

I'm not a fan of ape hangers either, but I would rather ride that Storm with hangers than a harley with stock bars. Just sayin...

Me too, but I'd change the tank art.

I've owned German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish and British built bikes, Japanese, British, Australian and Italian cars and have never yet felt the need to adorn any of the vehicles with the flag of the country of manufacture.

St Francis,
It's obvious that you do not feel the same passion about your ride that a lot of us do .
I would be quiet happy to have a Union Jack on my bike.....as I do with the ignition key.
Now , I know my beer is brewed in Oz , I know my beef is grown in Oz , I am not sure where my Viagra is manufactured.
For fucks sake Frank......it's only a flag !
Where were you born anyway

I'll agree with that. I want my bike to look like a bike, not a giant flag depiction. If I want to be patriotic I'll hang a flag outside my front door. I don't want one painted on my gas tank, or the hood of my car. That just looks tacky.

Plus us "Yanks" fought really hard to have our own flag. So while I love your bikes, and am proud to ride one , you can keep your flag.

Don't get me wrong Rob, I love my bike. Not because it is British but because it is a great bike.(most of the time.)

And Yes I was born in the UK but just like a reformed smoker, I am probably a more vehement Ozzie republican after having taken Australian Citizenship and accepting this countries hospitality and lifestyle.

To each their own, I guess.

By the way, wherever your viagra is made, I think you are probably wasting your money. You taking viagra would be like putting a Turbo on a vespa, great power but without the handling ability.

Happy 2013. Frank.

Nothing wrong with Apes but their not for me. And what is wrong with fitting them to a Bird after all? What's better, a Harley with Apes on it or a Bird? If a man wants Apes and you reckon they don't suit a Bird next choice would drive him logically to a HD which is a double loss, for us as Bird owners and him choosing to ride a lesser bike.
