I have had my bc pipes for about 2 months now and after about 2 weeks they started to yellow at the bend in them. i contacted
british customs and they told my to spray a chrome polish on them. i just bought the polish and tried it once so far but havent seen much of a change. has anyone else used this or have any other ideas?

That means they're stainless! Good.

Stainless turns golden, other stuff blues.

Little to no chance of that Birdy. (you'll see once it actually warms up out there in the mountains)

Quick update. I was getting some pretty serious yellowing on my pipes. I picked up a bottle of colonel brassy the other day and did a real quick (3 mins or so) clean of the pipes before heading out today and they look great.

If you can find it, give it a try. I've not tried it on anything else. Might work on those spotty wheels some bird keepers have as well. No idea but it was definitely worth the money.

British Customs recommnded Eagle one Chrome cleaner. I used it a couple times and it appears to have decreased the yellowing but it is not gone. Maybe i will try what you are using.

Well the Col. Brassy did a nice job of getting them back to the proper color. I will say you should be careful using it though. Undiluted it is some pretty aggressive stuff, that's fine for the s-bend part of the pip but you probably don't want to use it on the main body of the pipe without diluting it (it can be cut 5 to 1 with water).
