I have no garage and have to chain my Bird to my driveway and use a rain cover to keep it away from prying eyes, weather etc.

I used this same technique on my previous bike (Hardly Dangerous Dyna) and next door's cat used to use the bike seat as a place to sit under cover and clawed my seat to shreds. So now I use a rubber-faced doormat speared with foul smelling anti-cat jelly from my local garden centre to lay over the seat (jelly side up of course) which seems to keep the little blighter away from the Bird. Unfortunately my own cat is too old to fight these days (he's 18) otherwise I'm sure he'd do a better job to defend his territory (and my bike).

If anyone has any other suggestions (short of shooting the damn thing) I'd be happy to hear them.

Buy a garage or get a dog.

Would your place allow a Biker Barn l? It's a folding mini garage and they work well. Should keep the cats out.

Link

You would not have to ship from USA.

I put up a few large wash basins in my tall trees for Owls to nest in and it's a thing of beauty to see one swoop down on a loose cat and feed the young owlets.

Hi, Yes, they will fit either with the universal brackets that come with it or the easy brackets I used. In a couple of the pictures you can see that I have about 3 inches of space below the bottom and the muffler.
