Today i started de-cat,atook cat off and left hanger where the box of electrics is,but hanging down by the cat there is a plug ididnt take a picture so i cant show you,anyone know what it is?i cant see anywhere that it should plug into.

without a picture it will be difficult but have you should have 2 plugs going into the regulator/rectifier?

Yep got 2 plugs going into regulator/rectifier,this one seems to be nearer where the cat was

mine came with a battery conditioner lead fitted, just a thought, it hangs below the side panel

What vintage is your bike. Do you have or can you post a picture of the Battery Conditioner Plug?

Here is a picture of the optimate battery conditioner plug. They virtually all use the same type.

Ok went to the triumph sjop today and they said it was for a fog light.
