I learned a lesson i already knew but never applied to this particular mod.....never assume you don't like something till you've used it enough to become used to it. I would always tell people as much when they would complain about how they demo'd a cruiser and hated the foot forward position. In short, the volume i so hated i now love ! Well, that and the tone and of course the power, which was my main goal in the first place and i was NOT disappointed at all. I just posted to gush because i have to tell someone how incredible this bike is right now. The sound, the feel, the power, everything is in perfect harmony and I just cannot imagine a harley or victory or any other like bike being this good. But there are no words really. This is what it should have come like from the factory if not for all the BS regs. If it did, a lot more people would buy them. Anyways, thanks to Dizze for the tune and to those who think it's too loud, even those who tried and reverted back right away because of it, give it a chance. It's been a week for me and i did a 180 like you wouldn't believe. I just came back for a ride and i'm itching to go again ! (of course we have a oil shortage in Ca and gas is now over 5 bucks... ARGGGG !)

It's a whole new machine after switching to Shorties with no cat and loading DizzE's tune. Make sure you locktite everything. When my plate frame broke I checked my pipes cause I started getting some loud popping from the left side and found that the exhaust clamp bolt had just fallen off somewhere on the road. I promptly removed everything and locktited it all back on there.

I know, but theres gotta be some economic factor there that makes that price more in line with your income than it looks. If it were $10 here a lot of people literally would lose thier jobs and food prices and everything else would go thru the roof. It would be catastrophic. And no one could use a motorcycle for joy riding.

I should, yes. But i need to order new ones and when i do i'll locktite them. I'm sure mine are on the verge of breaking from taking them off and back on so many times, plus i tend to crank then very tight and the little loop part is bent way out of square and no doubt ready to break. Of course the truth is we should all check every critical bolt on the bike every so often, probably twice a year.

At $10 i'd not be able to own the bike and i'd have to sell my car even tho it gets good mileage. I'd have to buy something that does considerably better. I know several people who'd lose thier jobs immediately because they'd not be able to commute. I'm sure the economics over there make it more liable t those prices then here, but i don't doubt you guys suffer a lot too, if not as bad. I honestly can't see our economy surviving that here. Probably end up like some sci fi movie with cities turning into battle zones where people have to fight to survive or some such thing. (ok, maybe a bit of exaggeration )
