You're killing me! This an entirely different exhaust from the one in the above photo as you can clearly see and was constructed well after this particular model. One (above) keeps the "Cat", one (on my bike) eliminates it. As I have written before here, it is on correctly and was verified by "StainlessRide". It is P/N 001-139 Thunderbird Cannon 2009-up CAT Eliminator.
If you don't like the exhaust fine, don't beat me up forever here. THE EXHAUST ONLY GOES ON ONE WAY.

Also if one pays attention to a few things like angle of the slash cuts, there is a difference, one is horizontal (mine), one is verticle (TBRider). You also may notice the difference in length of the ehhausts, the entire diameter, and the placement of the forward hangers. You will also notice the curved portion of the exhausts where they connect to the headers. All of these little nuances make it utterly impossible for this exhaust to go on any other way. I tried swapping them out, bending the hangers here and there, it was a no go.

StainlessRide was contacted after a particular exhaust of theirs (TBRider's model) was seen on the internet on various other sites. I viewed their site and contacted them, asked the General Manager if something different could be made as they advertise "custom" work. I wanted something similar to the "Sceptre" exhaust that was on my America, this is the result and I am happy. Enjoy the ride.

Rev,
Yes I do, with the bike at idle. Now that the weather will be getting warmer after today, it is my intention to get one with the bike on the road. When I get it done. I will most certainly send it to you.

Flatbusy you can order them through fast eddy sports. Mine look like the ones that tb rider has in his picture but the length was custom made. I had them made so the top of the slash cut does not come past the pulley. About 6-8" shorter than stock. Eddy was very helpful with this even verifying measurements on his own bike. Less than $600 about 4-6 weeks wait. Sound awesome still have cat.

Got a pair of the Stainless Ride pipes and just got them installed. Using a custom Cat- by-pass by Dave Platt which also works great. Stainless pipes came a bit tight to fit over my by pass pipe. Took them to a local muffler shop and they stretched them out just a bit and they slid on fine. Seems Stainless still has a few things ti iron out....
Bottom line they are on and look and sound great. Deep tome, lots of rumble and a lot louder. A bit of popping (also K&N high flow air filter) so it is in the shop tomorrow for a new map tune. Power is better as well, not the the T-Bird has any issues with power.

They look good and probably sound alot better. How loud are they without the cat? I still have my cat in place and love the sound but was thinking of removing it just to see the difference. By the way from the picture it looks like you didnt put your heat shields back on. Any reason?
