Just got back from a trip to Edinburgh. After stopping by the Triumph dealer just to take a look around, I noticed a couple of things.

1) Triumph isn't nearly the merchandising powerhouse that Harley is - only 1 style t-shirt that even mentions Edinburgh or Scotland - and limited sizes available. I've always known HD makes it's money from merchandising, but when you compare to Triumph you really notice the difference.

2) They had a cool blue custom paint Bird in the show room. Not sure if this is really a custom from the dealer or if it's something from the factory for the UK alone, but I haven't seen anything like it in the US.

I am wondering, should an accidental scratch appear in that custon paint job like the one shown, just how much it would cost to repair it.I don't think I'd wanna be the guy payin for it. Dave!!!

On the bright side tho Dave, scratches could only improve that paint job !

Personally I like it a lot. Apart from being different and a one off it's also a custom which is something a one model type such as the Thunderbird can always use. Ok two model type if you count the Storm. I'd be a very proud owner if she was mine.

Seen that bike last time I was down to Two Wheels in Edinburgh. Not really my thing but you got to admire the workmanship. It looks better in the flesh than in the pics.
Last time I was down they had a good selection of Triumph Tee shirts and other Triumph paraphernalia in the show room upstairs.

I won't believe it until it has been officially denied.

The pics really don't capture the paint well. In person it is impressive. I agree that the tribal art may be over the top, but the overall style and "brushed" look make it really pop!

I must have caught them on a bad merchandise day. They did a several regular Triumph Tee's but we can get those at the dealers around here. Looking for specific Triumph Edinburgh or Scotland Tees, and all they had were 1 style (similar to the dealer by me) and only in white in Large and XL.

Can admire the craftsmanship if not the tribal crap.

Triumph have teamed up with 8 ball to do these specials. Highly regarded outfit and and contemplating some work myself but it won't have and of that pony on it.
