Bought a 1.5" elbow. Apparently it's 1.5" inside. Outside is 1.7". Did you all use a 1.25"? Also, someone should put a tut on this in the tech vault

Yeah, it's OD for this situation and I think we use 1.25 ID electrical tube to get the correct outside diameter.

Seach for po' man de-cat. It's around here somewhere.

No matter. I'll take it back. I found a way to open up the cat more. (hard as hell to work thru that opening....no good tool 4 the job) If i find that doesn't cut it i'll go straight pipe. But Dizze, how loud would you sai it is? I know it's hard to describe accurately, but is it a lot louder than tor w/cat?

Don't buy them, I got you covered, supprise! See PM. Actually it will be a bit less. With the short TORs and the cat there's a bit of droning. Without it, the droning is eliminated and I think you'll be please with the result.

Yep, that's right. With the TOR tune it sounds raucous without the cat. With the proper tune,
it snarls. The sound of power.

But i'm not talking type of sound, i'm talking volume. I just enlarged the cat holes and it's about as loud as i wanna go. I'm not getting the power i was when the temp cat plate buckled, but then it was horribly loud which i didnt realize till i heard it w/o ear plugs. They tend to make loud and not loud sound about the same it seems.

Jeff, i did see that and i am about to reply again.

Oh, I see. The volume....uh...about the same? I don't know. For me, Loud standing still, is all in the wrist.
Loud for those behind? I'm leaving.

Loud for those ahead? I'm not there, yet, am I?

Oh, do you mean for yourself? Is volume more important than quality? As a sound guy, you want the best of both.
I understand.
