Sorry been a bit of a delay as I had a bit of trouble getting the heat shields to fit. All done now though and happy with the result. Will post more on that with some photos and drive by video soon. However, here is a quick garage sound bite from last night.

If you can get away with them Ian then it must be ok for the rest of us. Look forward to hearing in the flesh so to speak.
Nice wellies!

Ok, here's the drive past video. Seems to be running OK on standard TORS tune, it awlays used to pop a bit, it's just the pops are cracks now, so I might have to get that fixed. Doesn't bother me for now though.

The heat shield problem - I expect this probably happens with a few of the after market exhausts as the HS are designed for stock and TORS. The back brackets didn't seem to be long enough. Anyway, the seller (Dave Platt) seems 100% genuine and offered me money back if not comepltely satisfied. By chance, the unit that built them is only half hour from me. So I took them over and they made some adjustments (including loosening and slightly moving the cat by pass) and got them on with the standard clips. Could just be me because he said they've sold in excess of 75 world wide and nobody else has had a problem. The Unit where they were made just makes and sells stainless exhausts, so very professional outfit.

All in all very happy. Now (in my opinion) the bike sounds as good as it looks. Went RTTW yesterday with big smile on my face

Having heard these pipes in the flesh on your bike I am of the opinion that they are by far the best sounding pipes I have heard. The sound clip does not do these justice.

I have to agree with Matt even though he has a propensity to fall of perfectly engineered chairs after but a few shandy's.

Ian's new stainless pipes do have the best sound, and look damn good too.

Having followed him through the fog this morning they came in handy as an echo locator for the sharp corners when I couldn't see his rear light.

wow oak, those do sound good. sound a lot like the staintune pipes on video anyway, I've never heard either in person. you probably need the dizze tune or a dynotune to reduce the popping, TOR tune won't do

currently on a slow Harley but will have another Triumph eventually
