Well you don't mess about do you. For a first cruiser you certainly picked the best one to start with. Congrats. I hope the weather is good when you take delivery. Nothing worse than sitting and starring at a new toy.

Yup, Blue and White is cool. I had to wait for 3 mos. for mine to arrive. But on the plus side, is was stamped 10/09. So made the month I ordered it. You will love it. I am keeping the America, good to have a back up bike for friends to borrow and use for commuting to work.
Just did the 500 mile service. Yes the dealers do make money on us. But with a newly designed bike, I figured the goodwill was worth it. They have been good. But I will probably go to my outside mechanic at 6000mi.

Hope your weather gets good enough to ride.

Welcome Peter, been riding a while myself and the T'bird is the best bike I have ever ridden.

You will love it!

My mates have GS1200 and they just about keep up with me.

Black one's are faster though

Hi Peter, 19 days and just wishing that March is a warm one. Think we're all missing the salt free roads. If you are tempted wash those wheels down immediately after your first run.

Well your now the 26th UK T'Birder. Think a mass ride out must be planned this year.

Enjoy.

What surprises me is the number of Aussie birds we seem to have. Seems they've taken to the bird hard.

Of course. Us Aussies know a good thing when we see it....and the Thunderbird is definitely a GOOD THING.

I'm loving being a Tbird owner. It's good to see so many like minded dudes all over the globe too.

This Forum has definitely taken off since last year. It's great to catch up on useful info and help from everyone from time to time.

Lets all keep up the good work....and enjoying our Thunderbird babies !
