The first 2 pictures below shows them literally thrown over but the strap looks might uncomfortable to sit on.
The second 2 show after Ive removed the 6 rubber supports from below the seat and screwed it on top of the strap using the rack spacer at the back.
Option 2 is my preferred solution but I'm just wondering if the seat will be OK?

My last bike had throw overs and they were under the seat but I didn't have to do anything other than put the seat back on.

They have zips on each pannier securing them to the centre section.

I did notice that this meant that the offside pannier touched the chrome belt guard and put some making tape on. However, it still marked the chrome (tape was fine, boy that chrome must be thin). Having now had an endorsement from Brad regarding the Airhawk seat pad next time I'm going with the over seat option, with the pad on top of the strap.

Same here - they were on a Daytona. Small but handy.
