This is me riding pillion at 40mph on an airfield near Hemel Hempstead during an i2imca advanced riding course this week, just showing how stable the Thunderbird is (but then you already knew that).

Rear wheel just starting to lose a little grip as the power is applied out of a corner, but surprisingly it felt very controllable.

Shags was this(pillion ride) part of the course or did you lose the toss?

Your rear tyre almost looks like a CT.

(That's because I'm a fat bastard)

The instructor was allowing us to prove to ourselves the inherent stability of the bike and it's very surprising just what you can do and the bike stays stable (as long as you don't play with the bars). I can see now just how these stunt riders stand on the seat (maybe I'll try that next time)

throttle lock?, neutral?

good pic

next its sitting facing rear and pillion
or
wearing studded boots and you hanging off the sissy bar, sparking your way along the runway.

One of the best things about this bike. You can really feel it loosing grip but there's no drama when it does, it just slides smoothly and maybe kicks a little when straightened

I used a Go Cruise (from eBay) - so simple to fit and to use.
