| Posted : 01 Apr 2012 - 01:17 Post title : Need a new Birdhouse! | | So I am in the process of building a new house, complete with a 3 car garage (or 2 car and 3 bike, if you will), and me and my family are temporarily in our rental house for about six months. We are currently selling my old house which had a nice garage and the temporary home doesn't have a garage for the bird. So I need something to protect the bird for the next six months or so. Building a garage or large shed is out since I'm saving for the new place. I don't think a simple cover would do; my wheels would corrode like nobody's business. What would you guys do? After doing a little research, I'm leaning toward the CycleShell which is a pretty nifty enclosure that not only protects your bike from the elements but also has a base you can lock onto. Plus it's only $375. I guess another option would be to purchase a trailer, but I don't feel like putting out a couple grand. What do you guys think? Any other ideas?

You can get them fully assembled, delivered by trailer to your yard. Then when you move, you bring it with you and have your storage for yard tools, etc. A few years back I got one for about $1200, 12'x16', and holding up very well to this day. You can even put the other stuff you don't want to unpack for the temporary housing in there, and when you relocate the shed...voilla, that stuff is moved already...less packing/unpacking!! Could even load it up with other stuff for the final move.
Good luck either way! Jamie

3 Car Garage? If I had an double I doubt there still wouldn't be room for a car. Maybe a couple more bikes though.
| If only I had a bigger garage
