In all honesty I prefer it without the Corbin fairing on the front otherwise really nice, hard bags look great!

That isn't a Corbin fairing.

Very very nice.

If you don't mind, where did you get the hard bags and the fairing at?

Thanks in advance!

What model Memphis Shades and what mounting gear. Would you post some pictures? That fairing is much better looking than the Corbin. Also mounting gear for the bags.... Mutazu or Triumph?

Sorry, I don't understand your above comment. Are they OK with and/or are the holes already there for Easy Brackets?

For easy brackets is necessary to follow the instructions of assembly and is necessary to make 4 holes in the provisions, but there are specifics for our motorcycle that have 12 cm of distance between screws you can both mount and them in front screws or both back, as better you have left ..... not if I explain my English is not very good ......

I am doing some digging on what you did on getting the batwing installed on your bird.

The hammer forks are 43 mm and the birds are 47mm. You mind showing a picture on how you did this? Just curious how they look when the Batwing is removed.

Thanks!

Look on the Lounge forum under "final product" Link and you will see my bike. I have a quick detachable Memphis Shades windshield that I use for long trips. The Memphis windshield is not on the bike in the picture but the mounting knobs/grommets for the windshield are. Look at the picture of the bike that is face-on. Look at either side of the headlight. Those are the knobs that accept the windshield/fairing brackets. Barely noticeable.

Nice and clean.

So you used the same bracket that he described further up in the posts as the one used for the Victory Hammer or a Different one? You happen to remember the model number?

I am just wanting some versatility.

BTW I noticed your running the tombstone windshield I am assuming just for in town. How well is it working for you?

Thanks in advance!

Yes that is a tombstone. It works really well for around town and small trips.

I had a 07 Honda VTX 1300 C that I bought the Memphis shield for. I kept the windshield when I got the TB. The only thing I had to do is get 47MM brackets for the forks. You can get them directly from Memphis for about $40 (you have to call them directly). Hope this helps.

Corner,

Not trying to make this painful... honest!!!

So on yours you got to keep the metal brackets to the batwing, and the quick latch parts for the down tube brackets. You just needed to change out the metal brackets that go around the tubes.

Was it a smooth fit or was there alittle work involved to get it into place? (Vice, hammer...and alot of cursing)

I called Memphis, and they said your right about they can send the parts for around 40 bucks.

Thanks again!

jb

What do you mean you are not trying to be painful, like a leg being cut off without anesthesia?

1. So on yours you got to keep the metal brackets to the batwing? I did not have a batwing I had/have a Memphis Shades Fat windshield. The windshield and brackets are unmolested. I put on the new fork brackets and the windshield with its brackets ported right over because the VTX and the TB have the same fork spacing. Both bikes are designed by the same person Prentice (sp?) See pictures below.

2. You just needed to change out the metal brackets that go around the tubes. Yes

3. Was it a smooth fit or was there a little work involved to get it into place? (Vice, hammer...and a lot of cursing). Smooth fit, you just have to adjust the fork brackets to the windshield brackets when you first install it. The adjustment process is a little pain in the ass but after that, the windshield takes five seconds to take off and about ten seconds to put on.

You can buy the brackets separately without having to buy the windshield.

I also have the Memphis fats with the wide mount hardware and 47mm clamps. At least half the price of the Triumph screen.

The bike looks absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Matazu bags a while ago and wondering how the quality is?

Perhaps good the quality is improvable, but comparing it with the price it is worth the trouble, furthermore you can paint always them to your taste, in mine some failures in the appreciable painting are seen but nothing ...... by others is comfortable and useful.
