Have removed the TT bars and now fitted the Storm Risers and Bars.
The TT bars were a little high for me and gave no adjustments at all.
On the other hand with the Storm Risers and bars I can now raise or lower the bars to just the right setting that eases any shoulder and neck pains.
All in all a very good changeover ,the cables and brake lines do not need changing at all,the only problem I encountered was with the tightening of the risers .
No matter how tight I turned the bolts the risers would not tighten all the way up,I used the Storm bolts ,as they are longer ,I eventually had to use the small chrome brace bar that comes with the TT set ,it cured the problem and the risers are now rock solid.
Others looking for a replacement for the TT bars can certainly look at these.
Will road test them this week and let you know the results.

Cheers
Steve

Interesting Steve, would you say your hands are further forward than the Tbars? The angle looks to be a bit better as well, maybe less stress on the wrists after a couple of hours. Looking forward to your report.

Wow that looks really interesting. I've been thinking about some black risers in my ongoing attempts to entirely black out my Tbird ... and I like the look. Please let us know how the ride has changed.

If there is lead in the air, there's still hope.

Gave the Bird a shakedown run and all seems to be great, the bars are definately lower and seem closer to the rider.
No vibrations(I fitted them with the rubber inserts still in place). I rolled them back untill they just cleared the tank by about 10mm when on right or left lock.
No fatigue or neck straining, very comfortable.
The ISO hand grips give a more "chubby " feel to the grips.

Cheers.

They would look very nice ,but with standard bars the cabling and front brake line become very tight.
The same problem was encountered when some of the lads were using the deuce risers with the standard bars.
Cable and brake line extension kits will solve your problems though.
Cheers

looking to do the same thing. could you help with letting me know where did you buy the Storm handlebars or ones that are the same size as original Storm? having hard time to find such big drag bars with a lot of pull back. actually i am not sure what the measurements are as specs are nowhere listed. seems like they are around 34 inch. but not sure.

If you go to Flanders handlebars the sizes are on their web site. Mimo if postage wasn't so expensive from Aus to US you could buy my old bars (Thunderbird Storm).

That's exactly what I want to do with my bird. That and round mirrors. Done.

The look when I twist the throttle.
I get when I roll up to a light.
When they debate to race.
When they see the back of my Triumph shirt, after I leave that red light.

Bring the cables behind the trees. I did that and was able to fit 10" apes on the stock risers. My only change was a longer break line. I kept the stock clutch and throttle cables.
