Good choice Dr. I love mine. They add some needed character to the bike and while louder are far from obnoxious. The guys at BC do a great job with customer service as well. Enjoy

Thatch - I was wondering, have you noticed any fuel consumption changes with the BC's?

Leave the pork pies for now - get the sausage rolls while they're hot!

I've only gotten 2.5 tanks into the bike. The first half tank came out pretty much the same (but it was mixed between old and new pipes. The first full tank I brain farted on and didn't get the reading and I've not filled up again since then. Hopefully I'll remember to get the reading this time around. Truth be told I'd doubt any numbers that were significantly off at this point just because my rinding is less frequent and shorter at this time and probably less spirited. I won't have a real idea of milage effects until the spring.

I stumbled back onto this thread when I was updating the link to my video.... I had forgotten.

I did check the mileage last time and it was as I suspected rather low. It came in at around 35mpg. Of course the weather has been crap and my rides have been very short. Typically what happens these days when it's cold is I go out for a half hour after riding pretty hard. I don't do any long rides so I think that skews the mileage quite a bit. Of course the next check will be after the BB kit is in so there won't be any real way to know. I suspect there wasn't much of a change though.

While I'm here I'll post the video here as well in case someone is searching for info on the pipes.
