Even though I have lived here for most of my life, this was my first visit. I have heard they are arguably the best leathers anywhere, and I have to say, after trying on a couple different models, they are indeed very nice! They are also quite spendy. Just wondering if anyone here has a Langlitz, and what do you think of them? I have a hard time finding a jacket that fits off the rack, and I like the idea of a custom fitted jacket. Funny side note : Sean, the gentleman behind the counter, was a classmate of mine from high school. Hadn't seen him since 1983. What are the odds...?

Of course, they are a very old-fashioned company, so the internet is not their forte. I have been doing a lot of research about their jackets, and found some good threads on thefedoralounge.com. Link Their jackets are mostly custom, and yes they are pricey. I plan on taking the plunge sometime in the future, but will probably go with something more affordable in the very near future. I really like the BMG Montana, and it will probably do nicely, but it's not a Langlitz. I bought the Thunderbird, because I wanted the best cruiser on the market. I would like to get the best leathers to to go with it. I see nothing out there considered better than Langlitz, and they are 100% USA made, so I will have to start saving the coins...
