I paid a visit to Langlitz today; one of the perks to living in the Portland area. Even though I have lived here for most of my life, this was my first visit. I have heard they are arguably the best leathers anywhere, and I have to say, after trying on a couple different models, they are indeed very nice! They are also quite spendy. Just wondering if anyone here has a Langlitz, and what do you think of them? I have a hard time finding a jacket that fits off the rack, and I like the idea of a custom fitted jacket. Funny side note : Sean, the gentleman behind the counter, was a classmate of mine from high school. Hadn't seen him since 1983. What are the odds...?

My brother has some langlitz leathers and likes them, he's from the Salem area and they are pricey.

I'm not real keen on the Langlitz website. Of course, they are a very old-fashioned company, so the internet is not their forte. I have been doing a lot of research about their jackets, and found some good threads on thefedoralounge.com.

Their jackets are mostly custom, and yes they are pricey. I plan on taking the plunge sometime in the future, but will probably go with something more affordable in the very near future. I really like the BMG Montana, and it will probably do nicely, but it's not a Langlitz. I bought the Thunderbird, because I wanted the best cruiser on the market. I would like to get the best leathers to to go with it. I see nothing out there considered better than Langlitz, and they are 100% USA made, so I will have to start saving the coins...
