I wonder if anyone has looked into this. I believe that the TBird may benefit from the look of the traditional spoked wheel. Photos will be much appreciated.

You would need a lot or spokes and they would have to be thick,,, LOL

but they were about $5000 for a set.

You can get a set custom made through these folks Link or a number of other places. I love spoke wheels, just not enough to spring for the costs involved to get them for the bird.
