Not bad prices either. Not sure that I want the rear of my bird looking like a mercedes (ref custom topbox)

good piont like the idea of extra lights though. the rear light all but disappears when carrying luggage on the existing rack

Yes looks like good quality boxes, But what were they thinking when they copied Mercedes?

I actually spent a good half hour looking at the XL3 version - BUT THERE'S NO BLOODY PHOTOS of the inner side of the boxes
How on earth can you get an idea if they will or will-not fit onto easy brackets!?!?




As to regarding the ani gif - that must of hurt if it was still hot coffee

THIS MAY HELP I HAVE PUT MY THUNDERBIRD ON YOUTUBE, SHOWN FITTED WITH HARDSTREET
PANNIERS.THEY WHERE EASY TO FIT, I USED THE THUNDERBIRD 1600 BRACKETS USED FOR THE
LEATHER BAGS. IF GOT THEM FROM AMERSON U S A I FOUND THEM TO BE THE CHEAPEST.

whilst at talking about these panniers to some one that had them fiited with short tors he said the heat from the exhausts had melted the bottom of the panniers. a bit worrying don't you think

the kappa/givi ones dont melt with shorties and are about the same money

I've got hardstreets and shorties, no issues with heat.

 
Experience is something you get just after you needed it
1600,Foran Razorbacks, Meerkat bypass, Dyno tune, real headlight,plenty of chrome,switchblade pegs, Hagon Nitro shocks & Ikon progressive fork springs etc. Scorpion Western Low handlebars. PH adjustable fork caps.
