Im not getting any younger . I get that . But why should the pain of riding in the British winter be endured ? I count us fairly lucky as we can ride for most of the year as long as you have the correct kit. I have wolf winter jacket and trousers but even those can make riding a bit chilly on my middle aged bones these days.

I invested in Gerbing heated gloves last year my god they are a life saver. Wired into the bike so nice and easy and very toasty . My fingers used to burn like hell at the tips but no more. So Im looking at the Gerbing jacket liner now for this winter and add the duel control temp control. Its going to cost the best part of £250 all in so before I dive in has anyone had experience of the jacket liner or more importantly any reason why I should get it?

Cheers.

Great investment that allows the user to wear less bulky and obtrusive outerwear. Additional benefits maybe increased focus due to comfort. One less thing to be concerned with..cold digits!

I am going to invest in winter gloves - better than heated grips. My very best mate in the whole world Mat can sort the wiring out for me.

It's a wise inverstment if you ask me Druid.

Oh - you want the wiring doing do you? - all those times you called me a puff for wearing heated gloves.

Yes - of course I will wire them for you - to the fucking mains

I am wired for the jacket but never needed it yet, and ride through winter. I am sure the time will come.

Everyone I know or have talked to who have invested in Gerbing heated gear have never regretted it. Expensive, yes, but built to last a lifetime. Smart move.

Come winter I usually change from a short sleeve to a long sleeve shirt. Don't have to plug the damn thing in at all.

Druid ,
Every morning when I wake I thank God that I live in Oz.
I had a nephew who lived in England for 3 years and he said that summers were OK but the winter
cold went right through to the bones. And he was only a young bloke. I can imagine the wind chill factor when out for a ride with the boys.
We get a frost or two in winter but nothing like yours. Give your old bones a treat.......
Come out here and join us .
You can put the cost of the electric gear on a plane fare !

You do what you want with your plug !!( There are other sites for that stuff)

I place my Heated gloves connector behind the left panel when not in use. And yes, connected straight to the battery via a fuse.
