I know a few folks here have them. The company is located in my old hometown. I'm thinking of ordering these with pockets on the back. Any issues with the pockets clearing the taillights? Can anyone share pics of the inside of the bags? They seem to be similar to the stock bags in build and quality. I think I can add some custom touches and they might cost a little less than the stock bags. The 128's flat back looks like it would be somewhat easier to mount EZ brackets than stock which I believe are NOT flat on the back. Any comments/experiences would be appreciated.

They say a direct mount with Easy Brackets. I don't know if they put "stiffeners" in, but a piece of plastic or aluminum on the inside of the bag will help it keep its shape when using Easy Brackets. Most the synthetic bag companies (Willie & Max and Saddlemen use ABS plastic on the back to help the bags maintain over the years.

PS, I was born in the Territory of Alaska and lived my very early years there!

I think they are great bags, put a set on a Dyna some years back and have a set on the thunderbird. I would argue that the quality is much better than the stockers but its an opinion. I do not have the pockets on the back, but don't think there would be any issues . I don't have picks of the inside, but the back is flat and made of a semi flexible plastic. They have held up well on both bikes with no sagging despite being ridden rain or shine. I would also recommend the ratcheting locks, they where not vey expensive to add but are well worth having. Here are a few pic's from the outside for now, I know i have some of the inside on another laptop.

Those look great!!

I am thinking of replacing my stock bags with those, especially if I can't get the sagging fixed.

I've only lived in AK one year. Some fantastic riding around here! Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the info about the sale pricing. Just ordered some 128s and saved about a hundred bucks.

How does the passenger fare when you have the 128's installed? Do they interfere? Looking a ordering them, DC13's pics did it for me, but I just don't want to affect my wife's ability to ride.

Good question. I bought these beginning of the winter and haven't mounted them just yet. Still lots of snow in my neck of the woods but I'm planning on changing out the pipes and then mounting the bags in the next few weeks. I'll post a report/ opinion after that. FWIW, the bags are of excellent quality and it seems they are great fit for the Tbird.

They work great with a passenger
I bought my T Bird so my wife could still ride after 2 back surgeries (and I wouldn't have sell other bikes that she had no interest in climbing on much less riding) . So one of the big things we looked for in bags was making sure they wouldn't hinder her ability to ride. She loves them.

Hope that helps

Edit: found this pic with the touring seats on it. I think it shows better what it would look like for a passenger
