OK - so I was about to order the Claymore jacket that Thatch has got - but while on my last road trip I was received an email with a special offer from World Of Triumph stating that their Lexington Jacket was reduced from £155.00 down to £90.00!

With the exchange rates at the moment and the postage to Switzerland it totaled out to be SFr. 144.00 - At my dealer they are going for SFr. 379.00!!!

So I didn't need long to think that one over... The deal was done - while having a beer in Greece
On arriving home today after work - there it was:

Thank you World Of Triumph - that is an EXCELLENT service, at more than fair prices!

Hey Birdy, you may have another career there, but I dont think it's modeling nice jacket I've also noticed that you have a Stockwell jacket, what do you use to care for it and how are the blue stripes holding up ?

Well, ya can't beat a deal like that and now you're almost as cool as me .......

sorry, I couldn't keep that one in... of course you're not remotely as cool as me, but it's a nice jacket none the less.

Actually as a nice textile jacket I wouldn't mind having one. As you know, mine is now a bit... 'colorful' and really isn't suited for wearing off the bike since our last trip. Question though, there doesn't seem to be any armor at all in the jacket. That true? or am I missing something?

So ya sayin' my modeling career should be postponed for a little while....?

Well I use both a 'Dubbin' (Wax + Fat) and a 'Bee's Wax' for the leather. Either placing the jacket out in the sun to get the leather nice and warm before rubbing in the Dubbin/Wax - or - lighting the fire at home and warming the leather that way.

Regarding the 'Blue Strips' - THEY'RE NOT anymore!!! They are well and truly faded away! When I put the wax on, a little colour comes back - but it's more a darker blue than the original bright blue.

But like I have said - even after ALL THAT DUBBIN and WAX, both the leather and I were soaking wet within 30 minutes of rain!!!

You're missing it mate! It has FULL shoulder and elbow KNOX armor in there!
It also has an inner quilted vest that you can take out should it get too warm.
While reading the tabs that hang from the jacket, it actually states that the material is both waterproof and windproof!!?
Any way - what I do know is that all the 6 (SIX) outer pockets are waterproof (are lined in plastic).

Oh - and Mat - that 'thing' hanging around by my pecker is actually that stuff you get and cut off when you buy a garment - you know the stuff I mean - How to be handled, How to wash, Special features, etc.... I just happen to have one attached to my dick for when I meet the ladies

Ohh, that's what that thing hanging between Birdy's legs is.
Nice jacket, Triumph does make good jackets, or at least the Vietnamese do. And and even better deal when they are on sale.
