While I was at the Corbin factory in Hollister, CA, I ordered a heated seat from them. I received it this week and it was a beauty. I also ordered the backrest...and it was a good one but I'm not sure I will actually use it on the seat as it looks awkward with just the solo seat on the bike....but I may change my mind.

I have included some pictures of it and I did choose the "in color" Corbin logo as opposed to the all black one that someone else has on the board...nothing against the all black but decided I'd make mine look different from it.

My growing collection of seats.

Shot of bike with new seat.

The Corbin logo.

The heat on/off switch.

Since I am going to use the long haul seat for my upcoming trip to "somewhere" I did not actually hook up the heated elements of the seat...I'll wait and do that after I get back from my trip.

It felt pretty good on my ride out to see Captain America tonight.

Dennis,
Do you sit higher (longer leg reach) on the bike than the stock 27.5 inches? I think that is stock.
Good looking seat.

If there's a T-bird in the garage then your either sick, broke or missing the time of your life.
Get out and ride that Bird.

The Tbird arrived June 26, 2009 - Speedy was traded in June for a 2012 Bonnie T100.

I'm not sure...feels more comfortable than the stock seat, tomorrow I'll go out and measure it.

I am looking forward to hear about your experience with this seat. I was looking at it as well, but for another reason: I am trying to find a seat that would lower the sitting position, or at least have a narrower dimension so that the legs are nearer the bike when I am not driving (as you have guessed, I am quite short )

Yves, I don't know if this is going to be of any help. I am 5'10" and the bike fits me well even with the stock seat. I tried taking measurements and it appears to be the same as the stock seat height. I feel that my rear end is sitting a little lower and it, again, feels more comfortable than the stock seat.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. That first picture in my post with the stock seat sitting next to the Corbin seat is the only side by side comparison that you might find useful as you can see the difference in the two seats.

Good luck.
