I often hit my hands on the mirrors when I take hands off and then regrip. It's a nuisance 'cause then I have to readjust the mirrors. Was wondering if the Triumph "accessory" mirrors (teardrops, etc.) or any aftermarket mirrors raise it up any? Plus I think a slightly taller mirror will give me a better view right over my shoulders a bit (good when group riding). Any aftermarket mirrors got a more convex shape for a broader view to the sides (smaller blind spot)?
Thanks - Jamie

I then turned the mirror heads out board and got a better view. I know in the past some guys had trouble seeing around their shoulders and I was wondering if this might be a fix for that issue. It also gives you the clearance you may be seeking.

But also like the looks of the black teardrops (for my black Storm), with the billet/drilled posts. But don't wanna spend the money if they don't get the mirrors up off the grips a touch more. Anyone with the teardrops or others notice more clearance between the grip and mirror? Any bar-end mirrors out there that fit ours (besides the mods on the Coffee 'Bird).

Actually, early on I had bar ends on my bike. It looked pretty good and worked really well. It just didn't work after I got the drag bar.

They are actually the most functional mirrors I've had on a motorcycle. Besides... what's ahead is a bit more important than what's behind.

I put them on the TBird and they work and, I think, look good. I see a little bit of my shoulder, but not enough to obstruct rear vision. I also put a small, stick on, convex mirror on the bottom inside corner of the left mirror and it completely eliminates the blind spot. I'm no longer paranoid about changing lanes to my left and turning into an oncoming vehicle I didn't see. Just a suggestion.
