I just don't think I could bring myself to using a trailer behind my bike, that one is cool though.

Well beyond my price range, but very nice. I wish I could afford it.

I couldn't actually see a price, beyond the £400 deposit.

Best money I ever spent.

£2148 inc VAT. If I need to take that much gear on a ride I shall take the car.

I travel a lot two up on the T-Bird and with our trip planned to Finland this year (Hotels Camping etc) a bit of comfort was in order, and like they say guys this is not a rehearsal. I took the combo out Sunday fully laden and two up, I did a circuit of motorway, fast A roads and some twisty B roads. The result

Nice one Steve. Not my thing of course , but what a great solution to your travelling problems. I must say, it looks really smart and if I were to bang my head and suddenly want the urge to go camping - then this would be the setup for me.

Oh - and I see you have another wheel to polish - yippeeeeee.

And if I don't see you before you go - I hope you both have a great trip.

Steve - I take it that this part pivots on the rear axle attachment (up & down) - How easy is it to disconect?

I forgot about dent - will you be with your trailer. I need to give it a once over - looks reaaly good quality stuff.

It can't pivot down Mat or the trailer would be dragging on the ground!

No it wouldnt - the vertical pivot keeps it straight. It must have to pivot at the axle.

True - silly me

If it was fixed and you went over a hump the trailer would lift

Yes, so you are, of course, correct! That is why you are an engineer and I am a truck driver!

I can't for an instance say one bad thing about THIS trailer. It looks to be the best damned bike trailer made of any I've seen. Congrats, it looks like it will do exactly what you want and need.

That said, to me it's like stomping on puppies. Sure you can do it, but why God.. why...

Ok, smartass moment over (mostly), it does look like a great solution.... for a problem I refuse to have. Enjoy the hell out of that thing Steve!

If we all spent as much time on our bikes as Pam and Steve do we would all need one of these. I think most of the contents of their house goes in the trailer - they are short of nothing on a trip.

Looks well made and as trailers go pretty cool, but for over £2000 it needs to be.

Be interested to see how you find riding with it on. They do make a good point on their site: It's got to be more stable than a bike with all your the piled up into a model of the leaning tower of pizza on the back seat.

Keep us posted.

Yes Mat you're right it pivots at the rear axle attachment. It's quite clever really because when the trailer is off the bike you don't really notice anything different, it's only the electric socket that gives the game away.
Very easy to connect and disconnect. And yes we shall see you at Dent

Do ya get extra points for wearing down the chicken strips on the trailer tire?

I'm way late on this thread, but today on Fox news I was watching all the motorcycles pulling out for the Memorial day ride in Washington DC.
There were several motorcycles pulling this style of one wheel trailers.

Hi all,

Really late to this thread, but just found the joy of a laptop again after 8 months traveling. I initially started looking at this option after seeing SteveViking's pics of their roadtrip yesterday. Mainly, as now I have become fixated on SCUBA diving while traveling Australia on my Storm. One problem, the amount of bags one can tie down on the rear seat. I am thinking if I don't get the trailer I may have to give up on the idea of cruising around on the Storm and go back to driving my ute round Australia.

I went to the local Triumph dealer in Mackay and was told that they have seen trailers around but those people could void their warranty. Has anyone else heard of this.

Also over 2000 pounds is a tad out of my price range when I already have a whole ute tray at my disposal.

If bad luck happens in three's, I must be a triplet.
