| Posted : 07 Jul 2011 - 18:48 Post title : Highway Pegs | | I want to get highway pegs for my SE but don't know which mount I should get-I like the looks of the non-adjustable but people with others types of bikes tell me to get the adjustable. Was wondering what some of you guys that have looked at them thought.....and pictures of exactly where you mounted them on your baby would be great. Thanks!

You need something very adjustable IMO.

Seems to me that the adjustables give you a (ridiculous) range of options, so you can find the right spot - and I guess that's the point.
Mine are currently 5.5 inches up from the bottom of the dresser bars, only time will tell if this is where they end up.

Mine seem overly bulky for what they actually do. Maybe I'm missing something but they don't really seem all that adjustable. You can rotate the actual foot peg forward and back so it has a nice slope fit to the bottom of your boot. I assume you can do that on the "non-adjustable" ones too?
