I looked for a spot and couldn't find one anywhere. Try putting on a set of ape hangers. That might give you enough room, and you'd fit right in up in the hill towns.

They'd never find it in the dentist's office.

Kuryakyn makes a saddlebag mounted holder.... I just want easy access to a bottle of h2o at a stoplight on a hot day.

Vic20 has one mounted on the h/bars. Looked quite handy but I have Mrs1600 as bar tender.

I used to think why would you need one. I drink a lot of water when I ride especially in high temp areas, on the America I would just sit the bottle between the risers and rest on upper triple tree. Tried that on the Thunderbird and does not work the same, the plastic bottle actually wore the triple tree. I am sure it will rub out but all the same, when I would hit bumps the bottle would bounce up and land on the console or on the headlight bucket and didn't want that. For the first time I was actually considering something to secure the water bottles.

There are lots of options. Heck there are times I drive my van to work just because I enjoy having coffee on the 97 mile trip....ummm? That just sounds like trouble, next thing I will want a radio to listen to!
