And, here's a shot of the Panavise suction cup mounting arm... that NEVER ONCE came loose on the road, even at speeds over 110mph and cross-winds approaching 20mph!

For simplicity sake I might just buy an extra big battery for the trip, but I'd really like to have a continual power supply to the thing. Besides, I should have something for charging my phone (though I don't use the data when out of country so it rarely runs low over a day). I still need to figure out my mounting setup... oh, and get the thing ordered.. and finish a metric butt ton of work here...

I had the space in the fairing, so it was easy. You can see from the photos above I just have a Belkin USB socket charger plugged into the 12v socket.
Didn't we go over all this in that other thread a few months ago?
