I had it with me on the SWTF trip, but didn't quite need it.

Now I need to send them $100 rather than $ 25.
Good find. I always like the idea of chaps from a practical perspective. Im just not cool enough to wear leather chaps and still take myself seriously.
I currently use a pair of Joe Rocket alter ego pants that are intentionally large enough to allow me to use them as over pants.

Yeah, a friend has them and they just seem too tight on him. He didn't splurge on the leather and he looks funny as his friends will tell him.
I love the big flappy western chaps on horseback, but flappy is no good on a bike. And, too, I'm just not that badass.
Now he has a Gladiator costume item. Heavy leather shin greaves that stick above his knees slightly when riding...very cool use of leather.
