Do we think they are worth the money? The one I looked at today was £800. Or is this an example of "you get what you pay for"?
OK you expert folks. Contrast and compare.........
Neil (and no - I haven't got money to burn. Just want good gear)

I LOVE my RUKKA jacket.
It was my first biking jacket - so I opted for a 'lower budget' jacket - or should I say - 'beginners' jacket. It's a GoreTEX jacket and more for the lower temperatures - so I'm ALWAYS wearing it once it down under 10 degrees C. I currently have 4 Jackets: RUKKA Textile, 2 leather and an IXS vented jacket. If I had to give up jackets and be left with ONE - I'd keep the RUKKA!
What I like about it that NO OTHER jacket has proven to do: - Perfectly fitting Neoprene Neck. It's simply comfortable - doesn't rip/pull your nice sports under garments when open. Nice and high at the back of the neck.
- BIG chest pockets. Big enough to carry my passport in one side and my bike documents in the other. LISTEN TRIUMPH - European documents DO NOT fit into your jacket's pockets!!!! MAKE THEN A TAD LARGER!
- Adjustability. On the arms and waist - perfect fitting.
- Death Proof. I can't seam to kill this jacket (so I can get a better RUKKA jacket! I was looking at the Adventure Jacket - but will have to wait...)
- REAL zips The zips are INDUSTRIAL strength! If you as me - Mr. Tonka was employed to design RUKKA's zips!
- Softness. At the end of the day - this jacket feels really soft! Considering it's a jacket that I wear in the colder conditions - it's really soft and compact AND LIGHT. If I were to wear a leather jacket in |10 *C and winter times then I'd be needing a nice fleece AND a GoreTEX over jacket just in case - then I wouldn't be so soft and compact and Light!!!
CONCLUSION: Would I buy another RUKKA Jacket? Yes
Would I spend more money on my second RUKKA jacket than my first one? DEFIANTLY
Would I recommend RUKKA jackets? Yes
Does I have shares in RUKKA? No....
Well that's just my 2p worth! Did I convince you that I like them....
EDIT: BTW and FWIW - If you watch Ewan & Charlie on the LWR, you will see that they had RUKKA jackets when at the BMW training course in Wales!!!
